What is a flock?


A flock is a group of animals and we are a flock to the Lord.

Dictionary
a group of animals (such as birds or sheep) assembled or herded together.
a group under the guidance of a leader especially a church congregation.



1 Peter 5;1-11
[ Serve God Willingly ] Therefore, I exhort the elders among you, as your fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker also of the glory that is to be revealed, shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock.


Genesis 4;2
Again, she gave birth to his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of flocks, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
