Boasting
Bragging,
Pride
According
to God, there is good boasting and bad boasting.
According
to the scriptures, there is only one way we can boast about ourselves;
we
are not to boast or brag about ourselves except if it is about our weaknesses.
Self-boasting is about pride,
The
Lord detests pride.
We
are to boast about and praise the Lord.
God wants us to have pride in and boast of Jesus.
I believe boasting about our family or spouse is ok with God.
The Bible tells us to boast to others about the Lord!

30 God is the reason you have a
relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and

Jeremiah
9; 23-24
This
is what the Lord says: “Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or
the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast
of their riches

let the one who boasts boast about this;

they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness,
