What is empower ?

The Lord our God empowers us


Divine empowerment occurs when a person becomes connected to God through Jesus Christ by answering a divine call and participates in God's divine plan. A person is empowered as they become members of God's family receiving authority from the risen Christ to fulfill their individual divine mediating role.




1 Corinthians 4;20
For the kingdom of God is demonstrated not in idle talk but with power.

Luke 9:1-6

Joshua 14;13
Joshua asked God to empower Caleb son of Jephunneh and assigned him Hebron.



Judges 3;10
The Lord’s Spirit empowered him and he led Israel. When he went to do battle, the Lord handed over to him King Cushan Rishathaim of Armon and he overpowered him.



Judges 11;29
The Lord’s Spirit empowered Jephthah. He passed through Gilead and Manasseh and went to Mizpah in Gilead. From there he approached the Ammonites.



Judges 13;24
Manoah’s wife gave birth to a son and named him Samson. The child grew and the Lord empowered him.



Judges 14;6
The Lord’s Spirit empowered him, and he tore the lion in two with his bare hands as easily as one would tear a young goat. But he did not tell his father or mother what he had done.



Judges 14;19
The Lord’s Spirit empowered him. He went down to Ashkelon and killed thirty men. He took their clothes and gave them to the men who had solved the riddle. He was furious as he went back home.
